Signing our Safe Schools Petition for Catholic Board
In a David & Goliath-style showdown, gutsy gay students are taking on the Catholic school board in Mississauga, Canada. Denied their right to form a gay-straight alliance club, a group of high school students have made a big media splash with their demand for equality*. In the wake of many suicides of many bullied LGBT teens, administrators need show support and set a positive example for equality. As a teen, Sharon Love suffered from very painful shyness that left her almost mute. In high school, after facing many years of bullying, she earned a reputation as the “kid who can’t even talk”. She became fascinated with other outcasts, who later rose to become outstanding. This was the start of her research into Secrets of the World's Greatest Leaders.
Later, Love earned a Master’s degree in Psychology.
