YES! We can save lives of bullied LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Trans) youth by saving our same-sex marriage facebook group, with over 2 million members. Please sign & share our new public petition, below. Together, we can save lives by saving the world's biggest gay-friendly facebook group. A safe place where bullied LGBT youth find support, sense of belonging and self-esteem, the group has saved a number of lives. Now, Facebook is deleting this group (over 2 million members list and over 1,300 discussions) in spite of hundreds of posts per month. Please

What can you possibly gain by shutting down this group other than the ill will of those of us who support gay rights. I'm a straight Christian woman, and I support the right of people to lives their lives in peace and free from undue harassment. Shutting down this group will only send the message that you do NOT support that right. There are over 2 million members, and even on Facebook that is not an insignificant number.

Tell you what -- when you shut down ALL the groups whose members harass others and promote viewpoints that are negative and bigoted, maybe then you can think about shutting this group down. But even then it will still be needed, because bigotry still runs rampant in the world at large.

So c'mon, be one of the good guys, and leave this group be.

Please do not shut down such a valuable group. I am a leader in the local LGBT Community and I can tell you that this group serves to keep me and thus the local community informed with what is going on world wide.I am a very avid Facebook user but if homophobia prevails and the group is shut down I will alert my 700+ friends to move to google + and I will drop facebook. I am sure that there are many who would echo this and If I look at all my friends and their friends the math adds up in the 10's of thousands...PLEASE KEEP THE GROUP !!! Do the right thing !!!
